Cultural Construction Evaluation of Affiliated Hospitals of Universities based on Entropy Weight TOPSIS Methods
Objective To construct an evaluation index system of cultural construction of affiliated hospitals of universities,and discuss the existing problems and their corresponding countermeasures based on the performance of cultural construction of 10 affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities in Shanghai.Methods Two-rounds of Del-phi method were used to construct the evaluation index system of cultural construction of university affiliated hospi-tals,the entropy weight was used to determine the weight of the index,and the TOPSIS method was used to evaluate the effectiveness of cultural construction of 10 university affiliated hospitals in Shanghai.Results An index system containing 5 primary indicators and 17 secondary indicators had been developed.The weights of the five primary indi-cators from high to low were behavioral culture(0.285 4),institutional culture(0.213 9),material culture(0.189 0),spiritual culture(0.171 2)and leading of Party building(0.140 5).Among the secondary indicators,the top four with the highest weight were leading of hospital Party building(0.071 2),leading of university Party building(0.069 3),publicity carrier(0.066 8)and identification system(0.066 4).The Cronbach's α coefficients of overall indexes and 5 level-1 indexes fell in the range of 0.86-0.90(P＜0.01).Based on the exploratory factor analysis,all of the charac-teristic roots of the factors generated by orthogonal rotation were＞1,and the total variance explained contribution rate was 56.80％,proving the good validity of the indexes.Through the analysis of variance,the comprehensive score of hospital culture in multiple hospital areas was significantly lower than that in single hospital area(F=10.48,P＜0.05).The comprehensive score of hospital culture in specialized hospitals was significantly higher than that in(F=12.59,P＜0.05).Conclusion An index system of cultural construction of affiliated hospitals of universities has been successfully constructed and the evaluation based on entropy weight TOPSIS method shows scientific and effec-tive results.During the cultural construction of affiliated hospitals,the leading of Party building of universities will become the core of the cultural promotion of affiliated hospitals.More attention should be paid to the material culture that patients can directly experience,such as publicity carriers and identification systems.The inheritance and inte-gration of hospital culture in multiple hospital areas still requires a long transition period.
