Research on the Level of Hepatitis B Patients'Social Resources Utilization based on Social Ecological Model
Objective Based on the social ecological model to explore the level and influencing factors of social re-source utilization of hepatitis B patients.Methods 765 hepatitis B patients in Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital and Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM were investigated with a social ecological model,including the general infor-mation questionnaire,the health literacy scale for patients with chronic disease,the social support rating scale,the sleep dysfunction rating scale,the hospital anxiety depression scale,the self-perceived burden scale,and the chronic illness resources survey from January 2019 to July 2023.The influencing factors of social resource utilization of hepa-titis B patients were analyzed by stratified linear regression based on social ecological model.Results The score of social resource utilization scale of hepatitis B patients was(71.22±21.85).The result of layered linear regression analysis based on the social ecological model showed that brilliant health literacy(β=0.327),heavy self-perceived burden(β=-0.319),good relationship with family members(β=0.473),high level social support(P=0.383),having bulletin board about hepatitis B in the community(β=0.571)and organizing knowledge propaganda about hepatitis B in community(β=0.558)were significant influencing factors for the hepatitis B patients'social resources utilization(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of hepatitis B patients'social resources utilization needs to be improved.Health edu-cation for hepatitis B patients should be strengthened,family members should be guided to pay more attention to hepatitis B patients,and hepatitis B knowledge should be actively publicized to the public for improving awareness of society and people for eliminating discrimination and different treatment to hepatitis B patients,community where hepatitis B patients live actively should be helped to provide external support for hepatitis B patients,finally all were for improve the utilization level of hepatitis B patients'social resources utilization.
