Advances in the Research of Endogenous Retrotransposon VL30 Elements
Endogenous retrotransposon VL30 elements discovered in recent years are a kind of trans-position elements through an RNA intermediat,which are scattered throughout the genome of rodents and also exist in humans as part of the burden of endogenous retroviruses.They are correlated to many nosogenesis,such BE,cerebral ischemia,globin disorders,melanoeytoma.The paper reviews the structures and functional propeaies of VL30 elements,and its relation to some diseases,and provides a potential cue for future inves-tigation.
