重复低强度红光控制近视的机制及安全性

重复低强度红光(repeated low-level red-light,RLRL)照射辅助儿童青少年近视治疗的研究结果表明,RLRL照射治疗能够减缓儿童青少年近视的进展,可能机制是增加脉络膜厚度,促进视网膜分泌多巴胺,抑制褪黑素分泌,促进细胞修复,抑制细胞凋亡等.RLRL的安全性在临床上也一直广受争议,因为儿童青少年的视网膜尚未发育完善,低强度红光长时间重复照射,可能会诱发辐射性白内障、视网膜三级神经元及色素上皮细胞变性、黄斑区光损伤等.(国际眼科纵览,2024,48:229-234)
Mechanism and safety of controlling myopia with repeated low-level red light
The research results of repeated low-level red light(RLRL)irradiation assisted treatment of myopia in children and adolescents show that RLRL irradiation can slow down the growth of myopia in children and adolescents.The possible mechanism is to increase choroid thickness,promote retinal dopa-mine secretion,inhibit melatonin secretion,promote cell repair,and inhibit cell apoptosis.The safety of RLRL has also been widely controversial in clinical practice,as the retina of children and adolescents is not yet fully developed.Long term repeated exposure to low-level red light may induce radiation-induced cata-racts,degeneration of retinal tertiary neurons and pigment epithelial cells,and macular light damage.(Int Rev Ophthalmol,2024,48:229-234)
