An analysis of the possibility of equalization of medicalinsurance in poverty-stricken areas in Xinjiang Uygur AutonomousRegion under the view of dual structure
With the growth of economy,deep-seated contradictions caused by the dual structure between urban and rural areas are increasing,and medical insurance shows features of dual structure.The paper took Xinjiang as an example,analyzing the possibility of medical insurance equalization based on institution foundation,connection and guarantee.By exploring the differences in the development gap,the systems of dual structure,systems and fairness of basic medical insurances between urban and rural areas,the authors observe that there is possibility of equalization in the systems,and offere policy proposals for the equalization of medical insurance in the poverty-stricken areas.
