Clinical efficacy of oral repair technique in the treatmentof oral diseases in elderly patients
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of oral repair technique in the treatment of oral diseases in elderly patients. Methods A total of 120 elderly patients treated in our hospital during June 2014 and June 2015 were randomly divided into the observation group and control group, with 60 cases in either group.Patients in the observation group were treated with oral repair technique, and patients in the control group received routine treatment.During the follow-up of a year, the clinical efficacy, recurrence rate, and satisfaction rate between the two groups were compared. Results The clinical efficacy, satisfaction rate, and recurrence rate of the observation group and control group were 95.00%vs.80.00%,96.67%vs.81.67%,and 0%vs.10.00%,respectively,and the differences were significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Oral repair technique is effective in the treatment of oral disease in the elderly, with a high satisfaction rate and low recurrence rate;therefore,it is worth of clinical application.
