Application of MinDose technique in coronary multislice CT angiography
Objective To explore the radiation dose and image quality with MinDose technique in coronary multislice CT angiography(CCTA)in contrast with routine CCTA.Methods Patients were divided into two groups and received coronary angiography performed with MinDose technique and routine technique, respectively. The radiation dose and image quality were analyzed. Results The heart rate(HR)of patients in both groups was controlled to be ≤ 70 beats/min.Compared with the routine technique group,in the MinDose technique group, the radiation dose of CCTA was reduced by 62%,while there was no significant difference in the image quality between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For patients with HR controlled below 70 beats/min,application of MinDose technique for CCTA can reduce the radiation dose but still produce similar image quality as the routine technique.
