Application of paclitaxel liposome weekly therapy and IMRT in treating senile advanced cervical cancer
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of paclitaxel liposome weekly therapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in the treatment of senile advanced cervical cancer. Methods A total of 80 cases of senile advanced cervical cancer treated in our hospital during June 2012 and June 2016 were selected and divided into the observation group and control group, 40 cases in either group. The observation group was given paclitaxelliposome weekly therapy and IMRT, while the control group was given cisplatinum weekly therapy and IMRT.The total effective rate, 2-year survival rate, and total adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.ResultsThere were no statistical differences in the total effective rate and 2-year survival rate between the two groups (P>0.05).The total adverse reactions of the observation group were fewer than those of the control group (P<005).Conclusion Paclitaxel liposome weekly therapy and IMRT is safe and reliable in the treatment of senile advanced cervical cancer, causing fewer adverse reactions, and improving survival quality and tolerance.
