Application of novel vs.traditional hemolysin in blood routine examination
Objective To compare the applicative effects of novel hemolysin and traditional hemolysin in blood routine examination.Methods A total of 96 subjects who had physical examination in our hospital during Dec.2015 and Dec.2016 and whose results were normal were enrolled.The subjects were randomly divided into 2 groups, observation group (n=48) and control group (n=48).In the observation group, novel hemolysin was used for blood routine examination, while in the control group, traditional hemolysin was used.The results of the two groups were compared.Results There were no statistical differences in leukocytes and platelets between the two groups (P>0.05).The control group had higher erythrocyte count than the control group (139.7±3.6 g/L,120.1±4.3 g/L, P<0.05).Conclusions The erythrocyte count tends to be higher when novel hemolysin is used in blood routine examination.As the measuring error can be corrected by adjusting the factor value, novel hemolysin is advantageous in blood routine examination.
