The goal of palliative care is to help patients and their families improve their quality of life,reflect the core con-tent of professional ethics of medical care,and respect the life value and personality dignity of patients,including relieving physical,mental,and psychological pain and meeting the needs of patients to prolong their lives through analgesia and controlling various symp-toms.This article expounds the integration of palliative care concept into geriatric medical education,provides a sustainable develop-ment teaching mode and practical experience for the training of geriatric medical workers,improves the quality of geriatric medical edu-cation,improves the post competence of geriatric specialists,and provides certain ideas for the establishment of comprehensive and standardized geriatric medical education.
