摘要
远程牙科是将电信技术和牙科保健相结合,通过电子健康记录、电子转诊系统、数字化图像、远程会诊和远程诊断等方法,广泛应用于预防牙科、正畸、牙髓学、口腔外科、牙周病、早期龋齿检测、患者教育、口腔医学和诊断等学科.本文对远程牙科的服务类型、我国远程牙科在促进和预防老年口腔健康中的应用现状及局限性等方面进行综述,为我国老年口腔卫生保健提出展望,旨在为以后的临床工作提供参考.
Abstract
Teledentistry integrates advanced telecommunications technology with dental care through the use of electronic health records,electronic referral systems,digital imaging,remote consultations,and remote diagnostics.It finds extensive application in preventive dentistry,orthodontics,endodontics,oral surgery,periodontal disease management,early cavity detection,patient education,dental medicine,and diagnostic practices.This review offers a comprehensive overview of teledentistry,detailing its service types,current applications,and limitations in enhancing and preventing oral health issues among the elderly within our country.The objective is to out-line future prospects for elderly oral healthcare in China and provide a valuable reference for subsequent clinical initiatives.
