Standing at a new start of the turning point of the era,this article believes that it is necessary to go beyond traditional economic theory,re-understand the status of industry in the new era,and summarize its characteristics.Industrialization is an endless frontier process with a long historical cycle in human economic and social development.By sorting out and comparing the historical transformation of Western industrialized countries from de-industrialization to re-industrialization,this article explains the connotation and strategic significance of the new industrialization proposed at the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.From the three levels of industrial paradigm,industrial ecology,and industrial form,this paper analyzes the changes faced by China's industrial development in terms of internal laws,practical norms,environmental conditions,survival status,and forms of expression in the new era,aiming to reveal the phased new characteristics of China's industrialization and provide a basis for updating and enriching the connotation of new industrialization in line with the times.
