TURNING INTO REALITY:THE"XIANG"THAT FORGES A STRONG SENSE OF COMMUNITY FOR THE CHINESE NATION
People's sense of the Chinese nation community needs the help of symbols to"Embody Images",turning the Chinese nation community from an abstract dimension into the real world,and then forming and forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation."Xiang"is the way to indicate and turn the symbols of the Chinese nation community into reality,which lies between the abstraction and the reality as well as between the body and the consciousness.Specifically,along with the creation and dissemination of symbols,the Chinese nation's collective memory,common culture,value system,and historical process attached to the symbols are continuously sensed by people,and in the process,forming the concrete image-imaginary image-sensible image-representative image cycle of the Chinese nation.In the cycle,a sense of community is integrated into people's psychological structure,repro-duces the common memory and public knowledge of the Chinese nation,further preserves,disseminates and delivers these memories and knowledge by the form of symbols,and thereby ensures the regeneration,accumulation,strength-ening and consolidation of a sense of community for the Chinese nation.
