Forming identification has been the core of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese na-tion.National public sacrifice ceremony can form emotional identification,rational identification,and behavioral i-dentification on the cognitive basis through guiding mainstream values,accumulating collective value beliefs,and regulating the behavior of collective members,through these three psychological processes,and achieve the advance-ment and cultivation of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.Due to the differences in diverse stages of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,in the emotional identification stage,it needs to exert the driving force of national spirit of public sacrifice ceremony to build a shared spiritual home for all ethnic groups;in the stage of rational identification,it is necessary to continuously accumulate the value appeal of public sacrifice ceremonies to strengthen the identity awareness of national community;in the stage of behavioral identifica-tion,it should increase actively the unity and cohesion of public sacrifice ceremonies to promote the identification to the Chinese nation community.
