ON THE LEGISLATIVE APPROACH OF GUANGXI'S SEPARATE REGULATIONS IN FORGING A STRONG SENSE OF COMMUNITY FOR THE CHINESE NATION:Series Ⅱ of Studies on the Legalization of Ethnic Affairs Governance
Forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is the main line of the Party's ethnic work in the new era,as well as that of various work in ethnic areas.As an important part of the sources of Chinese law,separate regulations are an important legal basis for the governance of ethnic affairs in ethnic autonomous areas.The introduction of separate regulations in ethnic autonomous areas must focus on strengthening the commonality of the Chinese nation and enhancing the sense of community for the Chinese nation.In the process of exercising their autonomous legislative power to formulate separate regulations,autonomous counties in Guangxi province have made salutary attempts in specific approaches to forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.Their experi-ence in making flexible use of accommodation power in legislation to enhance commonality,skillfully exploiting resource endowment to provide legislative protection for the realization of common prosperity,and making good use of legislative contact points at grassroot level to enhance legislative identity is worth promoting.
