MOBILITY AND INTEGRATION:AN ANALYSIS OF THE SPATIAL TREND OF THE WILLINGNESS OF ETHNIC MINORITY MIGRANTS IN CHINA TO PERFORM HOUSEHOLD REGISTRATION MIGRATION
The willingness of ethnic minority migrants to perform household registration migration is an impor-tant indicator for observing interaction, exchange and integration between different ethnic groups.Based on the CMDS data of 2012 and 2017,this paper uses the ESDA method combined with logistic regression to explore the spatial distribution, change trend and influencing factors of the household registration migration intention of ethnic minority migrants. The results show that the migration intention demonstrates a downward trend and has the charac-teristics of spatial differentiation, and the eastward migration intention decreases significantly, while the westward migration intention increases significantly. At the same time, the spatial dependence and geographical agglomeration degree gradually decreased, and the flow was mainly among different cities within the province, indicating that a new pattern of large-scale integration brought about by the large flow was gradually taking shape. The reasons are some important explanatory variables, such as national and regional development strategy, supporting policy dividends, group social characteristics, economic and social integration, and effective supply of public services.Economic and social integration and public service guarantee have a greater role in promoting the willingness of ethnic minority migrants to perform household registration migration than in the central and northeastern regions. Therefore, the work of urban ethnic minorities in the new era needs to be adjusted according to the spatial differentiation and spatial evolution trend of the household registration migration intention of ethnic minority migrants in China.
