ON COLLATING ANCIENT BOOKS OF THE ZHUANG PEOPLE AND FORGING A STRONG SENSE OF COMMUNITY FOR THE CHINESE NATION
Ancient books are an important carrier of excellent traditional Chinese culture.As an important component of these books,ancient books of ethnic minorities contain their cultural aesthetics,spiritual concepts and code of ethics.The square characters of the Zhuang people are its traditional ethnic characters,and its ancient books transcribed in this kind of characters is valuable asset of systematically recording its culture.Recognizing and reading these ancient books and characters can provide understanding of history and the cultural creations of our predecessors.It can not only help trace the historical evolution of the Zhuang language,but also offer a glimpse of the historical origins of the Zhuang language and Chinese language.Moreover,it can help us to explore the evolution of Chinese stories into Zhuang songs or plays,and observe the recognition and acceptance of the Zhuang people about Chinese culture.Therefore,accelerating the collation of rare ancient books of the Zhuang people and excava-ting excellent cultural elements are important measures to help build a common spiritual home for all nationalities in China and forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,proving great spiritual power for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
