Investigation and analysis of fertilization status for Guanxi Honey Pomelo in Pinghe county
[Objective]The present study investigated fertilization status in Pinghe county,the most important Guanxi Honey Pomelo planting area in Fujian,proposed nutrient limiting factors to yield,analyzed fertilization status under different plant conditions,in order to provide references for scientific fertilization of Guanxi Honey Pomelo.[Method] Eight to twelve-year Guanxi Honey Pomelo trees were taken as the target in the research,the researchers investigated 120 representative farmers on the fertilization situation from 2014-2015 based on distribution proportion of planting area,cultivated varieties,age stages of farmer and education level.Statistics of fertilizer type,dosage,fertilization ratio and fertilization mode were collected by reading planting records,filed trip and on-the-spot yield estimation.Correlation among dosage,fertilization mode and yield was analyzed.[Result]For each Guanxi Honey Pomelo tree in Pinghe county,annual average dosage of nitrogen fertilizer was 1.06 kg/plant·year,phosphate fertilizer 0.75 kg/plant·year,potash fertilizer 0.78 kg/plant· year,calcium fertilizer 0.29 kg/plant · year and magnesium fertilizer 0.09 kg/plant· year.N ∶P2O5∶K2O ∶CaO ∶MgO=1∶0.71 ∶0.74∶0.27∶0.08.Annual average dosage of organic fertilizer was 13.27 kg/plant·year.Annual average fertilization times was 4.93.Base fertilizer accounted for 32.44％ of the total dosage all year round while topdressing 67.56％.In terms of base fertilizer,30％ farmers adopted furrow application;as for topdressing,95％ farmers adopted broadcasting fertilization.There was positive correlation between contents of nitrogen fertilizer,phosphate fertilizer,magnesium fertilizer and yield;there was negative correlation between contents of potash fertilizer,organic fertilizer and yield.In planting structure,the proportions of small planters (planting area ≤ 1.33 ha),young people (≤ 30 years old) and education level of middle school and below were the highest.There was great difference in fertilization level under different planting conditions.[Conclusion] The important nutrient limiting factors to Guanxi Honey Pomelo include nitrogen fertilizer,magnesium fertilizer,phosphate fertilizer,and potash fertilizer.The paper suggests that the dosage of nitrogen for each adult Guanxi Honey Pomelo tree is 0.9-1.1 kg/plant·year,N∶P2O5∶K2O∶CaO∶MgO=1∶0.50-0.66∶0.91-1.0∶0.3-0.4∶0.28-0.40.The dosage of commercial organic fertilizer is over 20.0 kg/plant·year for each tree.Annual fertilizations can be divided into three times:fertilization promoting tip and flower,fertilization enhancing fruit quality and pre-harvest fertilization.Furrow application of fertilizer is recommended.
