Numerical simulation of LNAPL multi-factor migration based on T2VOC comparative analysis
TOUGH2 software was used to conduct numerical simulation of LNAPL.The impacts and sensitivities of groundwater flow rate,LNAPL leakage intensity and groundwater level fluctuation on the dissolution rate of LNAPL were compared and analyzed,so as to provide the basis of source strength for the simulation of LNAPL dissolution and migration.The results of simulation show that NAPL phase saturation plays a key role in the dissolution rate.The factors affecting the dissolution rate of LNAPL are as follows:the sensitivity of groundwater flow rate to dissolu-tion rate is the highest,followed by the sensitivity of groundwater level fluctuation,and the sensitivity of leakage rate is the lowest.Therefore,special attention should be paid to expand the monitoring of liquid phase for the pollu-tion source areas with fast groundwater flow rate and frequent rise of groundwater level.For the pollution source ar-eas with fast penetration rate,attention should be paid to investigate the NAPL phase of LNAPL.
