Analysis of water distribution scheme for Xijiang River Basin and its main tributaries in Guangxi
Based on the water quantity control index of the river basin and the total water consumption control index-es of various cities allocated by the Ministry of Water Resources to Guangxi,taking into account the relationships between water inflow and outflow,water use within and outside the river channel,water use and consumption etc.,analysis was made on the supply and demand balance as well as the allocation of water resources for Xijiang River Basin and main tributaries in Guangxi,so as to reasonably determine the distributable water quantity of surface wa-ter resources in the basin.The inter-regional water use relationship in the basin was considered comprehensively.On the basis of the water resources allocation results and according to the principles of water quantity distribution,the share of surface water use outside the river channel of Xijiang River Basin and its main tributaries was deter-mined for each city in Guangxi.
