Research and application of unequal spacing between front and rear rows of double-row piles at a pump station project
The double-row pile foundation pit enclosure structure is a statically indeterminate rigid frame structure formed by the front and rear rows of piles passing through the connecting beams at the pile top.At present, there is relatively little research on how to calculate the unequal spacing between the front and rear rows of piles.Taking a drainage pump station project as example,a three-dimensional model was established by use of the finite element software of Midas GTS NX,based on which the author conducted an overall analysis,a stress analysis of the double-row piles structure and a settlement analysis of the surrounding environment. The research has found that the stress states of the front and rear piles of double-row piles are inconsistent, and segmented reinforcement can be adopted to save costs;the connecting beam node of the enclosure structure is the key to its effectiveness.
