The construction of Pinglu irrigation zone project is the need to improve agricultural irrigation conditions and ensure food security of Qinzhou City.Four area schemes were drawn up based on the investigation of cultivated land in the distribution range of irrigation zone.The scheme with 1.16×106 mu of irrigation area was recommended after a water balance analysis and a comparison of economic and technical indexes.
