The construction of right bank powerhouse and dam of Datengxia Gorge Water Conservancy Project is characterized by much difficulties,tight schedule,multiple indicators at a leading level both at home and abroad,complex technology.The key points and difficulties of construction such as river diversion and closure,concreting,installation of metal works and electromechanical equipment were identified,based on which the authors studied corresponding countermeasures,conducted technical breakthroughs around key issues,formulated specific mea-sures and applied the technological achievements to engineering practice to solve the technical difficulties.
