Application of drought disaster survey results in drought early warning of Guangxi
The results of drought disaster risk survey of Guangxi include the survey results of drought-induced disas-ters,the risk assessment and zoning outcomes for the 14 cities and 111 counties(districts)in Guangxi.The survey results were analyzed to understand the drought distribution,causes of droughts and the current situation of drought defense in Guangxi.It was found that there exist some problems in Guangxi's drought relief work such as low inte-gration and sharing utilization rate of drought disaster resources and insufficient drought monitoring and early warn-ing capability.In order to solve these problems,a drought data system was established to make the survey data be searchable,visible,manageable and usable;a data updating mechanism was set up centering on the collection of regularly and constantly refreshed survey data,achieving dynamic administration and sharing of survey results,and improving collaborative efficiency of drought relief work;a drought early warning indicator system was constructed to enhance Guangxi's early warning capability of drought disaster.
