Comparison and selection of flood discharge tunnel schemes for Tuoying Reservoir
For the flood discharge tunnel of Tuoying Reservoir,two schemes were designed.Scheme I adopts dragon head connection type and does not share water inlet,while scheme II adopts a short slope connection type and share water inlet.Two schemes were compared from the aspects of structural safety,operation and control,construction and cost before scheme II was recommended.
