Design of continued supporting construction and water-saving renovation projects in Muding Irrigation Zone
Muding Irrigation Zone is a medium-sized irrigation zone with a designed irrigated area of 65,100 mu.Analysis was made on the existing problem of this irrigation zone.Main renovation works include that curtain grout-ing is carried out for some dams to stop leakage;cast-in-place concrete is used to protect the bottom and slopes of channel from seepage;the buried diversion culverts in sections prone to collapse are dismantled and rebuilt;mason-ry retaining walls are constructed on channel shoulders;the exposed surfaces are finished with cement mortar;and the top of the culverts is covered with reinforced concrete slabs.
