Discussion on demarcation of river management scope of small watersheds in Chongqing City
The river course in small watershed is characterized by seasonal river,low annual flow,narrow inherent riverbed,sharp flood rise and fall,multiple flood prone areas,many contradictions in demarcation of river manage-ment scope.According to the characteristics of river course in small watershed,combined with the experience of Chongqing City in demarcation of river management scope,zoning analysis and study were conducted on the flood discharge areas of small river basins,and it is proposed to infer the theoretical boundary line of the flood discharge area as the baseline,avoid the flood prone areas with prominent management conflicts,rationally determine the river management scope.
