Study of groundwater overexploitation problem and management for Beihai City
Groundwater is important water supply sources for Beihai City.With the rapid development of society and economy,the groundwater overexploitation problem is rather serious in Beihai City,some environmental geological problems such as seawater intrusion and expansion of mining induced subsidence funnel area have occurred in some areas,which seriously restricts the sustainable development of social economy.Regarding the current situation of groundwater development and utilization in Beihai City,the overexploitation status and reasons,and combined with the actual situation of water consumption in Beihai,specific management and protection plans were proposed from the aspects of urban and industrial underground water pressure mining,rural groundwater pressure mining,un-reasonable water pressure mining in hilly areas,which provide scientific basis for promoting the management of groundwater overexploitation in Beibu Gulf area.
