An introduction was made on the design ideas for the reservoir site selection of Hezhou Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Guangxi,including preliminary screening of constraint and sensitive factors,comprehen-sive comparison and analysis of technical and economic indexes such as hydrology,topography and geology,overall layout,construction,land acquisition and investment etc.The recommended sites consist of Shiyangchong upper res-ervoir and Yonghe Village lower reservoir.
