Comparison and selection of cascaded water lifting schemes for Longjiang River Valley Irrigation Zone
An introduction was made on the general information of Beishannan irrigation area and Shifu irrigation ar-ea in Longjiang River Valley Irrigation Zone.For these two irrigation areas,two alternatives of one-cascade water lifting scheme and cascaded water lifting scheme were compared in respects of topographical and geological condi-tions,construction organization,environmental impact,construction cost and operation management etc.,before ra-tional cascaded water lifting scheme and exit basin sites of pump stations were selected to satisfy the irrigation func-tions while reducing construction cost and permitting convenient operation and management.
