Application of new technologies in flow monitoring and data processing of Lingqu Hydrological Station
Due to the backwater effect of flood in downstream Darongjiang River,the water level-flow relationship curve was compiled at Lingqu Hydrological Station by use of the continuous time series method to establish a rope loop relationship.Basically,each large single-peak flood forms a single rope loop water level-flow curve;com-pound-peak floods form continuous loops of water level-flow relationship.Sometimes it is necessary to develop wa-ter level-flow relationship curves of up to 10 rope loops per year.The water level-flow loop relationship processed by continuous time series method requires a large number of measured flow points,only based on which can the alignment and flow reckoning satisfy the specified standard.The flow monitoring work of Lingqu Hydrological Sta-tion is heavy.Moreover,it adds a lot of workload and difficulty to the data processing and flow calculation.Accord-ing to the hydraulic characteristics of this station,new technologies of flow measuring and data processing were used scientifically.Countermeasures and suggestions were discussed for the flood backwater effect on flow measuring and data processing.
