By studying and analyzing the overall layout and structural characteristics of ship lock engineering,and utilizing the powerful 3D design function of CAITA software,a fast 3D modeling method mainly relying on template parameterization and with sketch stretching as the auxiliary approach was found.It was applied to engineering prac-tice,greatly improving the design efficiency and accuracy of ship lock engineering.
