Comparison and selection of pump gate site for Naping River flood protection dike in Nanning City
For a flood control and drainage project,the pump gate site shall be selected taking into consideration many factors such as project land,shipping traffic,topography,hydrological and geological conditions,difficulties of construction and land acquisition and resettlement,project investment etc.The site selection has a decisive impact on the nearby residents,shipping traffic,construction difficulty,project cost,flood control and drainage effect.Tak-ing the site comparison and selection of drainage pump station and flood gate for Naping River flood protection dike in Nanning City as an example,the optimum scheme was determined after five schemes were analyzed and compared.
