The concrete pouring of cutoff wall is continuous in flow state.The stress-strain gauge is fixed with a steel cage frame and lifted to the embedded elevation.The frame not only needs to have sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand various forces during the concrete pouring process,but also to prevent the instrument from moving and being damaged during the pouring process.Therefore,the embedment scheme should be well designed and all par-ties involved in construction must cooperate properly.Combined with the actual situation of project,an introduction was made on the embedding technique of stress and strain monitoring instruments for the concrete cutoff wall.
