Discussion on equalization of basic public services for resettlement of water and hydropower projects
An in-depth analysis was conducted on the equalization of basic public services for resettled migrants of water and hydropower projects.The key factors that influence the equalization level were identified and correspond-ing countermeasures were put forward.It is pointed out that increasing capital investment,upgrading service facili-ties,enhancing migrant quality and capabilities,promoting information application,establishing supervision and evaluation mechanisms are crucial for improving the equalization level of public services.The goals of these compre-hensive measures are to narrow the service gap between regions and groups,ensure the migrants have access to fair and quality public services,promote social stability and harmonious development.It is suggested that the govern-ment and all sectors of society make joint efforts,learn from successful experiences,innovate practical methods,and continuously improve the service system to achieve long-term stability and migrants'satisfaction in resettlement areas.
