Under the Perspective of Cultural Inheritance in the New Era:Preservation and Utilization of Ancient Books in University Libraries in Central China
This article,combining literature research method and online research method,summarizes the research elements of ancient book preservation and utilization.Based on this,it conducts research on the storage of ancient books in university libraries in central China,as well as the current situation of their open utilization,promotion,and restoration and repair,analyzing the characteristics and problems of ancient book preservation and utilization.From the perspective of advancing the deepening development of ancient book work and supporting the cultural inheritance in the new era,six strategies are proposed:contributing the power of central China to pro-moting legislation on ancient book preservation;collaboratively establishing ancient book research centers;strengthening the construc-tion of professional talents for ancient books;promoting the editing,publishing,and digitization of ancient books;integrating ancient book resources into the construction of"four news"disciplines;and creating a compound promotion and inheritance model of"libraries+"and"ancient books+".
