Additions and Corrections to A Chronology of Library Science Education in the Republic of China:1913-1949
A Chronology of Library Science Education in the Republic of China:1913-1949 by Li Mingjie and Li Ruilong is a represen-tative achievement in systematically sorting out the historical facts of library science education during the Republic of China period.It provides rich historical materials and important clues,with high historical and literary value.However,there are shortcomings in some contents of this chronology,such as significant omissions and errors in historical facts.Addressing these issues is of great reference value for the study of the history of library science education during the Republic of China period.The article supplements and improves the omissions,as well as correcting the errors in the chronology through literature research and historical verification methods,based on periodicals,newspapers,books from the Republic of China period,and current research results.The study believes that it is necessary to continue collecting and organizing historical materials on library science education during the Republic of China period to provide references for relevant research in the future.
