Major Issues in Minor Events:The Renovation Plan of Yale University's Bass Library from the Perspective of Responsible Innovation
This paper reviews the implementation process of the renovation plan for Yale University's Bass Library and analyzes it from the perspective of "responsible innovation" to provide useful references for service innovation in university libraries.By using online survey methods to collect and analyze related archives,news reports,and social feedback on the Bass Library renovation plan,the background,implementation process,and main content of the plan were elaborated.The case study of the Bass Library renovation plan provides insights and recommendations for libraries undertaking innovative activities,including focusing on needs and conducting tho-rough analysis,ensuring transparent communication and balancing various demands,fostering cohesion and achieving multi-party colla-boration,and continuously exploring and improving innovation process.
