Research on Library Social Responsibility Reports from the Perspective of Responsible Innovation
Regularly compiling and publishing social responsibility reports is an effective method for libraries to fulfill their social re-sponsibilities,enhance information transparency, and achieve "responsible innovation." This study conducts a content analysis and comparative research on 21 existing library social responsibility reports in China, identifying several key issues: low participation rates among libraries, limited attention to social issues, insufficient structural completeness, and inadequate visibility. To encourage the cre-ation and publication of more high-quality social responsibility reports, libraries should focus on the following four aspects: enhancing report awareness and practicing "responsible innovation"; standardizing process management and conducting timely reviews; develo-ping specific indicators tailored to the library industry; and strengthening management evaluation to achieve industry consensus.
