Exploration of Building Regional Networks for Patent Information Services Centered on University Libraries:A Study Drawing on the PTRC Model in the United States
The construction of regional networks for patent information services centered on university libraries plays a significant role in advancing the public intellectual property information service system.Through literature research and network research,this paper analyzes the unique model and rich experience of regional patent information services in the United States.It proposes that the construc-tion of regional patent information service networks can draw on the U.S.PTRC(Patent and Trademark Resource Center)model.Spe-cifically,it can position university libraries as the core,foster resource connectivity and mutual benefits,form alliances with multiple partners,standardize access rules,promote unified development,and strengthen brand promotion to ensure the stable and efficient operation of regional patent information service networks.
