Research on the Value of Library Science from the Perspective of Subjectivity
This paper probes into the value of library science by examining its intrinsic structure and external relationships from the perspective of subjectivity.It analyzes the essence of the discipline's origin,relational category,nature of existence,and practical function.Through this analysis,the study constructs a four-level framework of ontological value:individual value addressing personal needs,collective value serving group interests,developmental value meeting social demands,and historical value responding to tempo-ral requirements.From this framework,the study distills three fundamental points of value creation in library science:academic integ-rity,cultural education and knowledge equality.
