Design of High-Voltage and High-Power Opto-Electric Hybrid Watertight Connector
The high-voltage and high-power opto-electric hybrid watertight connector is an important component of underwater transmission systems,submarine observation systems,and submarine detection systems,and is the link between submarine composite cables and equipments.In order to achieve independent and controllable related technologies,the design of high-voltage and high-power opto-electric hybrid watertight connector has been carried out.Through the design of high-voltage resistant structure,optical unit precise docking structure,water pressure resistant sealing structure and other structures of the connector,it is ensured that the connector has excellent power,electric signal and optical signal transmission functions.The connector achieves the working water depth of 3 000 m,insertion loss≤0.8 dB,working voltage AC 8 kV,working current 40 A/core,contact resistance<1 mΩ,insulation resistance(DC 500 V)>5 000 MΩ,plugging times≥500,and working temperature-5~60℃.The successful development of this connector has promoted the localization of watertight connector technology,becoming the key to ensuring the normal operation of various submarine systems.
