Evaluation Method for Space Environment Application of PTFE RF Coaxial Stable Phase Cable
In order to ensure the reliability of the space environment application of PTFE RF coaxial stable phase cable assemblies,an evaluation method for the space environment application of PTFE RF coaxial stable phase cables is studied.According to the characteristics of space environment applications(i.e.,basically excluding γ-radiation,water vapor, oxygen, nitrogen, rich in proton radiation,α-radiation,β-radiation),it is pointed out that the experimental conditions of evaluation method based traditional ground γ-radiation test is differ greatly from the real space environment, which can lead to significant deviation in the evaluation of the space environment application of RF coaxial stable phase cables with γ-radiation sensitive PTFE media.Furthermore,an evaluation method based ground proton electron radiation test that is more in line with the actual space environment is proposed. After experimental verification and theoretical analysis,it has been shown that the evaluation method based on ground proton electron radiation test can accurately evaluate the applicability of PTFE RF coaxial stable phase cables in space environment and guide their application in space environment.
