Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most prevalent and deadliest cancers. Most of the tri-partite motif(TRIM)family proteins have E3 ubiquitin ligase activity and are involved in the regulation of vari-ous cellular biology processes, including gene expression, cell cycle progress, apoptosis, signal transduction, and carcinogenesis.More and more studies suggest that members of the TRIM family play an important role in pro-moting the proliferation, migration and invasion of HCC cells. This review aims to discuss the role of the TRIM family in HCC,providing a basis for identifying new diagnostic and therapeutic targets for HCC.
