Anxiety and depression in adolescents,especially in adolescent students,are increasingly prominent and have become a major public health problem.Long-term anxiety and depression can seriously affect mental health of adolescents and even lead to the occurrence of emotional disorders.This paper reviews the epidemiological current status,influencing factors,and potential social psychological and neurobiological mechanisms of anxiety and depression in adolescents in recent years,so as to provide references for preventing and reducing the occurrence of adolescent mental health problems in a comprehensive perspective,aiming at promoting relevant fields developments.
