Association of inflammatory factors with maternal adverse childhood experiences and psychological behavior problems in children and adolescents:a research progress
Adverse childhood experiences(ACEs)not only directly damage physical and mental health of individuals, but also may cause adverse effects on psychological behavior of offspring through intergenerational transmission. In recent years, biological mechanism of intergenerational health effect has received extensive attention, among which the role of inflammatory factors has become a research focus. In this paper, inflammatory factors, maternal ACEs and psychological behavior problems in children and adolescents are associated pair-wise,and research progress on effects of inflammatory factors in maternal ACEs on psychological behavior problems in their offspring was reviewed, aiming at exploring biological foundation of maternal ACEs intergenerational effect, and providing references for psychological behavior problems prevention and control in children and adolescents.
