Application of Comprehensive Teaching Combined with Specialized Teaching in Undergraduate Practice Teaching of Stomatology
Clinical practice is an important part of stomatological undergraduate education and an important stage of the transition from medical students to doctors.The traditional teaching mode cannot meet the requirements of the society for the training of dental talents.The combination of comprehensive and specialized teaching can better cultivate students'clinical comprehensive thinking ability,oral diagnosis and treatment skills,and doctor-patient communication ability,which has great advantages.Since the implementation of this teaching model in the school of stomatology at Qingdao University,the average passing rate of the qualification exam for dental practitioners has been higher than the national average over the years.The participation rate of undergraduate students in the"Three Rural Activities",as well as the volunteer service activities,and the award rate of various oral clinical skill competitions have significantly increased.The purpose of this article is to explore the characteristics and advantages of the teaching mode of comprehensive teaching combined with specialized teaching,in order to have certain thinking and reference for clinical practice and provide a new mode and theoretical basis for training clinical practice of stomatological undergraduate.
