Conservation on the protocorms of Dendrobium officinale in room temperature
The effects of different basal media, sucrose concentration, subculture period and conservation time on the propagation and differentiation of protocorms of Dendrobium officinale were studied. The results showed that the suitable basal medium was 1/2 MS,the optimum sucrose concentration was 1%,and the subculture period could last for 10 months under the room temperature. The protocorms would keep differentiation and propagation abilities in five years of conservation. As the conserved time being longer, the ability of differentiation became weaker.
