Identification and expression pattern analysis of soybean TrxG gene family
TrxG(trithorax group)gene family is conserved and widely existed in plants and animals, and plays important roles in regulating gene expression and maintaining normal growth and development of organisms. In order to investigate the distribution of TrxG genes in soybean and its regulatory mechanism in response to abiotic stress of soybean, the physicochemical properties, phylogenetic relationship, composition of domains and genes expression of soybean GmTrxG gene family were analyzed by bioinformatics method and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.The results were as follows:(1)A total of 15 GmTrxG gene family members were identified in soybean, encoding hydrophilic proteins with the length of 982-2 394 aa amino acids.(2)GmTrxG protein members could be divided into three subfamilies, and members of each subfamily contained a SET domain.(3)The expression levels of most GmTrxG genes were highly expressed in stem tips, leaves and flowers of soybean.(4)The genes GmSDG2a/b/c/d were constantly and highly expressed by heat shock and drought.GmSDG2b/c and GmSDG14c were strongly induced by the stress of low temperature, and the genes GmSDG2a/b,GmSDG14c and GmSDG25a/b were up-regulated by salt.(5)Most GmTrxG genes were up-regulated under the treatment of jasmonic acid(JA)and salicylic acid(SA).In conclusion,GmTrxG genes are differentially regulated by different abiotic stresses, and members GmSDG2a/b/c/d,GmSDG14c and GmSDG25a/b may play an important role in soybean response to abiotic stress. The results provide a scientific reference for further exploring the biological function of soybean GmTrxG gene family members.
