Curative effect of medicated thread moxibustion of Zhuang medicine in the treatment of acute migraine and its influence on serum CGRP,IL-6,and TNF-α levels
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of medicated thread moxibustion of Zhuang medicine in the treatment of acute migraine and its effect on serum calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tu-mor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Methods:A total of 70 patients with acute migraine were randomly divided into exper-imental group and control group according to the order of treatment, with 35 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with medicated thread moxibustion of Zhuang medicien, and the control group was treated with Flu-narizine Hydrochloride Capsules orally. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group was 94.29%,which was significantly higher than 77.14%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum CGRP,IL-6 and TNF-α,headache intensity score, headache attack frequency score, headache duration score and total headache symptom score in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above indexes in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).During the treatment, there were 4 cases of gastrointesti-nal adverse reactions such as mild nausea and abdominal pain in the control group, and no adverse reactions occurred in the experimental group. The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group(11.43%)was higher than that in the experimental group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Medicated thread moxibustion of Zhunag medicine is effective and safe in the treatment of migraine, and its mechanism may be related to inhibiting the release of CGRP and reducing the levels of inflammatory factors(IL-6,TNF-α).
